Our Mission
Austin Groups for the Elderly is a non-profit organization empowering caregivers, the elderly and their families through education, advocacy, resources and support. We accomplish this mission through our four programs:
Support Us

We welcome donations and volunteers to support us in providing quality services to the growing elderly population of Central Texas. All donations to AGE are tax-deductible.

For more information on ways you can support AGE, please contact Nicole Daspit at (512) 451-4611 or ndaspit@ageofaustin.org.

Donate

Your donations to Austin Groups for the Elderly are a tremendous source of support for our programs. Through your charitable contributions, we provide equipment, information, education, consultation, and direct services to caregivers, the elderly and disabled, and their families.

There are many wonderful ways to give to Austin Groups for the Elderly, such as:
  • Recognizing a special person with a brick in our Legacy Walkway
  • Pledging your monthly support through our Circle of AGE
  • Donating to our annual campaign
  • Sponsoring a scholarship for an aging or disabled person to attend Adult Day Care at Elderhaven
For more information on these and other ways to give to Austin Groups for the Elderly, please contact Nicole Daspit at (512) 451-4611 or ndaspit@ageofaustin.org.

There are many ways for groups and individuals to participate in a variety of rewarding projects. The following are only a few of the ways you might donate your time and energy to helping AGE:
  • Coach or teach seniors computer skills in SeniorNet
  • Use your creative talents to put together craft kits or put on a musical performance in Elderhaven
  • Serve food or share your healthcare or therapeutic knowledge with Elderhaven clients
  • Help with special events in and out of the AGE Building
  • Assist with outreach for the Caregivers Resource Center
  • Help with maintenance or administration of the historic AGE Building
Call (512) 451-4611 or email info@ageofaustin.org to inquire about these and other volunteer opportunities with AGE.
