To help boost local philanthropy, the
I Live Here, I Give Here campaign educates
Central Texans about the many ways non-profits provide solutions to
critical community issues. Show how "you give here" with a donation to Austin Groups for the Elderly.

     - Elderhaven, the only two licensed Adult Day Centers for medically vulnerable seniors,
     - Caregiver Resource Center, a free informational center for the caregivers of older adults
     - SeniorNet, a peer-to-peer senior computer literacy program.

In-Kind Gifts

     - Wii Wireless Controllers and senior-friendly games for PC or Wii.  These are used in memory
and cognitive therapy for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and used to help disabled seniors
       practice motor skills.

     - Durable medical equipment, like wheel chairs, shower chairs, shower transfer benches,
scooters. This equipment is donated to low-income seniors and disabled individuals to help
seniors be more independent and safe in their own communities. We partner and provide
free equipment to 12 other non profits serving seniors and the disabled.

     - Digital Camera and Camcorder.

     - Cash, PayPal and gift card donations are always welcome.

Volunteer Gifts

     - Are you a hardcore gamer?  Assist our staff in teaching seniors how to use Wii or computer
games as part of our therapy programs!

     - Love to build or handy?  Install ceiling fans, emergency call buttons, and other items to
help make our facility safer and more comfortable for our seniors.

     - Get your band out of the garage! Perform for our seniors who appreciate music of all
genres and musicians of all skill levels. Dancers, chorale groups and other artists also
